The holidays are over : welcome to the new term

As today marks the official first day of term we want to welcome all new and returning staff and students back to College and remind you that, even though all new students will be receiving a Library induction, if you have any questions about, or suggestions on, Library services let us know: 01752 203 413 or lrc@pca.ac.uk.

While you've been enjoying the summer we've been working hard:

New items - we have received hundreds of new books, plus new DVDs and journals, related to your specific subject areas, which we will be blogging about in the coming months.

Databases - we have two new subscriptions - Art Source and Bridgeman Art - you can access them here (on our 'Databases & e-journals available through the Library' page accessible via the Library homepage - you may have to log in). 
 
We have also begun work on creating an accessible College archive with the ultimate aim of writing a new history of the College. If you have any College related ephemera (news cuttings, photos, College publications/posters) you would like to donate to us get in touch. Alternatively, if you want to hold on to your momentos we are just as happy to make copies. We promise we will look after any items lent to us. Opposite is an extract from the College's 1972/73 prospectus promoting the Library - we may have quite a few more books now and our 'lending facilities' are no longer limited but we still encourage you to 'take full advantage of all the facilities available'.
